Children’s ministry

The purpose of the GGM children’s ministry is to provide a platform to teach and train children in the ways of God so as to lay a firm foundation for their lives. This is in line with the teachings of scripture which admonishes us to, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”(Proverbs 22:6)

This role primarily starts from home. The parents therefore retain the fundamental responsibility of deliberately spending quality time with their children to nurture them in every aspect of life. The children ministry at church only helps play a supplementary role. The GGM children ministry involves reading scriptures, bible stories, use of charts, pictures, singing, use of skits, asking questions and referring to daily life situations to enable children relate biblical teachings to day to day life. This is critical given that so much evil is in our world today and children are a target in many ways. If we must raise a future generation that upholds godly values in society, we must focus on investing in children.
